This Privacy Policy applies to the CareRadar parent app and the CareRadar Child companion app (together, the “Service”), operated by Velaris Apps (“we”, “us”). CareRadar helps parents and legal guardians keep track of the location of their own children with the child's device.
The CareRadar parent app is intended for parents and legal guardians (adults). The CareRadar Child app is installed on a child's device by the parent or legal guardian and can only be activated by scanning an enrollment QR code generated inside the parent's signed-in account. Children cannot create accounts, and the child app collects no information until a parent completes this enrollment.

We do not collect contacts, photos, messages, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any data for advertising purposes. The Service contains no third-party advertising.
Location data from the child's device is transmitted over HTTPS to our servers and is shown only to the parent/guardian accounts in the same family. We never sell personal data and never share it with third parties for marketing.
These providers process data only on our behalf to operate the Service.
Location history is retained to provide the history feature and is deleted when the parent removes the child from the account or deletes the account. When a child is removed, all of that child's location history, safe zones, and device registrations are permanently deleted. To request account deletion, contact us at the email below; we delete all associated data within 30 days.
We comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including COPPA. The child app operates solely under verifiable parental consent: it functions only after a parent enrolls the device from their own authenticated account. Parents may review or delete their child's data at any time from the parent app, or by contacting us.
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Device credentials are stored as salted hashes. Access to production data is limited to the operator.
